BOFA at the Barrel Room: A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.

Sunday 17th May 7.00 pm
Featuring: A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night MA15+
In the Iranian ghost-town Bad City, a place that reeks of death and loneliness, the townspeople are unaware they are being stalked by a lonesome vampire. The glorious black and white cinematography builds a dark atmosphere, with the skate-boarding vampire character using her chador, a tool of female oppression, as the vampire’s cape. She is out to get justice for all the women that are being harmed by the patriarchal system in this Bad City.

” ..witty, romantic and authentically eerie, made with a stark post-punk prettiness.” The Guardian
